Expressive Narration

Born in Iraq in 1971, I was immersed in a world where literature was a cornerstone of daily life. As the oldest son of a well-educated school principal, my early years were steeped in the rich tradition of classical literature. By the age of six, I was already delving into the works of William Shakespeare and other classic poets.

However, the political turmoil and unrest in Iraq eventually forced me to flee to Syria. Where I pursued my academic interests with vigor, eventually becoming a philosophy professor. The opportunity to come to America marked a new chapter in my life. Starting anew in a foreign land was no easy challenge. My journey was fraught with trials and tribulations.
